We have Worship each Sunday at 10:00 a.m.

Since 1955, our families have been gathering in Phoenix to worship the Lord Jesus Christ, and to learn from the teachings of Emanuel Swedenborg along with the Old and New Testaments which are the foundation of the New Church.  You'll find a friendly community, rich in its traditions of gatherings and family events.  In addition we support our members and their families in spiritual ways to enhance the quality of life, both natural and spiritual.

In Sunday worship we focus first on readings from the Word — the Old and New Testaments.  Then we hear about the spiritual meanings of those scriptures and stories, as described in Swedenborg's Writings.  Our preaching and worship especially seek to make God comprehensible, and to help us understand what a useful life is, in our process of spiritual healing and regeneration.

Children are a wonderful gift to us all.  We have a special section of our worship service just for children.  Often the young ones have a chance to answer questions about the story they just heard.  During the adult service, the children go to the classroom for fun and educational activities with our teacher volunteers.

Our congregation is small, though we are a part of the worldwide General Church organization.  We offer an open fellowship to newcomers, and as individuals we get to know each other in the church.  What we offer is a unique spirituality.  We have special teachings to assure people about the life of heaven, and to provide support for marriages and families.  Also, our detailed doctrines invite the spiritually thirsty to drink from a deep well of spiritual wisdom within God's Word.
